The Glen is positioned at the corner of Springvale road and High Street at the heart of Glen Waverley. With its vibrant and multicultural atmosphere, Vicinity and Fraser’s Property Australia undertook an intensive period of investigation about a potential partnership in creating a mixed used development.
The proposed scheme consisted of a 3 level basement, 3 levels of retail and 3 residential towers above the podium deck with over 500 apartments. Each residential tower would have access to shared amenities facilities such has rooftop spa, outdoor and indoor cinema rooms, a multipurpose room, gym and conference room.
HGW Projects were engaged by Fraser’s to assist in managing the detailed design coordination and program during the bid phase associated with the residential component of the project. A detailed understanding of mixed-use development design, staging, procurement, subdivision, settlement and operation was required. Unfortunately, the deal was not finalised successfully.
